Sony/Marvel Reserved Dates: Exciting Speculations Arise for Upcoming Films

Sony has recently scheduled reserved dates for two untitled Sony/Marvel films: November 8, 2024, and June 27, 2025. Both of these cinematic offerings will be showcased on Imax screens. Let the speculation commence! It could potentially be the third installment of the Venom franchise or even Tom Holland’s forthcoming Spider-Man extravaganza.

Presently, there are no conflicting events standing in the way of a Sony/Marvel production on November 8. Universal has an unnamed event film planned for November 1, and Warner Bros has an untitled blockbuster on November 15. Additionally, Paramount has Gladiator 2 set for release on November 22.

Come June 27, 2025, Sony will be pitted against an untitled Blumhouse production and the fresh live-action interpretation of Disney’s Moana.

Holland, during his press tour, has been tantalizing fans with hints about the future of Spider-Man. In an interview with Inverse, he cryptically stated, “Certain circumstances are unfolding,” and expressed his enthusiasm by saying, “I’m thrilled.” However, he added a note of uncertainty, saying, “Whether or not it will materialize is anyone’s guess. But at the moment, prospects seem quite promising, and we’ll just have to exercise patience and observe.”

Sony has been dominating the summer box office with the animated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which has amassed an impressive $412 million and counting in global ticket sales.
