BTS Military Service: Jungkook, Jimin, BTS V, and Other Members Set to Enlist by Year-End

Following the enlistment of Jin and J-Hope in December and May respectively, the remaining members of the K-pop superband BTS are preparing to fulfill their mandatory military service. Reports indicate that BigHit, the agency managing BTS, will commence the enlistment process for Jungkook, Jimin, BTS V (Kim Taehyung), RM, and Suga by the end of this year. While BTS fans, known as the ARMY, hope for a delay, viral reports suggest that the remaining members will embark on their military service as scheduled.

Jungkook and BTS V are the only members who have not yet released solo albums. Meanwhile, RM, Jimin, and Suga are currently completing their solo activities before commencing the enlistment process. A dedicated fan page for BTS shared that according to officials, all members, including Jungkook and BTS V, will complete their military service by the end of this year. The members aim to minimize any gaps and resume their activities as a complete group once they return.

In related news, Jungkook is scheduled to release his solo album on July 14, according to the Korean media publication Soompi. The album is reported to include an English song. BigHit stated that they will announce the release schedule for Jungkook’s solo album once it has been confirmed. In the meantime, Jungkook has been keeping fans excited with other projects, including his performance at the FIFA World Cup and his collaboration with American singer Charlie Puth on the song “Left and Right.”

Recently, in celebration of their 10th anniversary, BTS surprised fans with a live performance of their latest track, “Take Two.” Additionally, each member took the time to share heartfelt letters on Weverse, expressing their gratitude and reminiscing about the special moments from their decade-long journey.
